The 3 projects located in the heart of the capital, when completed will give Bandar Seri Begawan a new look and would have the potential to attract many visitors, not only the locals but also tourists from other countries. Therefore, the projects could generate the country's economic growth through the opportunities to open new business areas and tourist facilities. His Royal Highness then took a closer look at the progress of the Kampong Ayer Zone 'A' Revitalisation Project: Backfilling and Reclamation Work in the area from Kuala Sungai Kedayan to Edinburgh Bridge, costing nearly $36,000,000. The project which began on the 26th of January this year is scheduled to take 28 months to complete. This project is located within the area under the proposed Bandar Seri Begawan Master Plan on regeneration of the River Bank Eco-Corridor, one of the catalyst projects for a rapid development of Bandar Seri Begawan. To date, this project is more than 53% completed. The scopes of the construction work that is being carried out in Zone A involve reclamation of the river bank, filling work and building of a one kilometre long retaining wall along the river bank, construction of walkways, building of a 120 metre long pedestrian bridge from Kampung Limbungan to the commercial centre in Batu Satu, Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha, construction of Sumbiling Jetty near Istana Darussalam, construction of landscape and river-dredging work in the area. Jalan Residency is the main road for residents in the Kota Batu area and users of the bridge linking Kampung Sungai Kebun to the town centre. The first phase of the project was completed and has been in use since April 2013. The Project Site of the Connecting Bridge from Sungai Kebun to Jalan Residency was the last stop of His Royal Highness' working visit. The nearly $140,000,000 project is now almost fully completed. From a special vehicle, His Royal Highness viewed the development of the bridge construction up to the end of Jalan Sungai Kebun. The bridge offers an alternative route that can help ease traffic congestion in Jalan Tutong and reduce travel time. The 600 metre long bridge will become the country's another landmark in the field of communication. It will also be the first cable-stayed bridge in the country. His Royal Highness' working visit to the 3 project sites reflects the leadership of His Royal Highness in ensuring the smooth execution of the planned projects in support of the nation's aspiration towards achieving Vision 2035.

Aeroplanes are not cheap. Even the cheapest aeroplanes are still priced in the same area as top luxury cars. So you can imagine the most luxury planes are way beyond what most will ever afford. In this list we'll be showing you 5 of the most expensive planes in the world. (Excluding Military) We would like to give a big shoutout to viewer Danny salter for suggesting this video. --------------------SECOND CHANNEL------------------- Check out my second channel More5! for funny, weird, interesting news, along with the latest trending topics within the YouTube community. This “VIP” model of the Boeing 747-8 is called the “Dreamliner” and features an exclusive design with all of the latest technology. Some of the features include vaulted ceilings, video displays on the walls, and spiral staircases. The normal 747-8 Intercontinental can seat 467 passengers, although this pimped out version seats quite a few less because of the extravagant additions. This ultimate private jet will set you back $153 million, which is cheap compared to some of the other jets on this list. It is owned by Hong Kong real estate billionaire Joseph Lau. 4) Boeing 747-400 Custom – $220 million This customized version of the Boeing 747-400 was fitted with two luxury bedrooms, a dining table for 14 people, and just to help feed the ego of the person who owns it there's a throne in the middle of the plane. Probably comes to no surprise that its a royal who own this plane. Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal of Saudi Arabia purchased this exclusive jet back in 2003 for $220 million. 3) Boeing 747-430 Custom – $233 million Another jet own by royalty, originally this jet costed $100 million, but the owner the Sultan of Brunei wasn't satisfied with the lack of luxury. So he spend and extra $130 million to basically turn everything into gold. The walls have gold detailing all over the plane, the living room, bedroom and bathroom are all decorated in gold and crystals, and the washbasins are made from solid gold. All together this custom jet has a price tag of $233 million. 2) Airbus A340-300 Custom - $350-$500 million Ever wondered how the richest man in Russia travels? Well this custom Airbus A340 is owned by billionaire Alisher Usmanov and originally costed $238 million. However Ushmanov wasn't satisfied either and remodeled the plane to fit his every need. It has a range of technology, and the interior is pure luxury. The estimated cost of the plane after all its added extras range from $350 to $500 million. 1) Airbus A380 Custom – $500 million This is the most expensive private jet in the world and its owned by Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal of Saudi Arabia. Yes that's the same Prince Al-Waleed who owns number 4 on our list. This plane has everything including a two car garage, a room just for the princes hawks, a stable, multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, showers and of course all the standard luxury features you'd expect from private jets. Not only is it the most expensive but also the largest commercial plane, and it costs a whopping $500 million. This means Prince Al-Waleed has already spent $720 million just on jets, and I wouldn't be surprised if he owned a few more.

HIS Majesty presented house keys to over 1,200 happy homeowners in the Brunei-Muara district under the National Housing scheme and Landless Indigenous Citizens Housing Scheme or STKRJ in a ceremony held at the International Convention Centre. February 4, 2016. HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam received the warmest welcome from students and teachers during his visit to several schools yesterday. His Majesty visited three educational institutions – Menglait Secondary School, Mabohai Primary School and International School Brunei (ISB) – following the key handing over ceremony for 1,234 house recipients at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre (ICC). It was the monarch’s first visit to the three schools. During the visit, His Majesty took time to mingle with the teachers and students. Deputy Principal (academic) of Menglait Secondary School Siti Marienah Hj Umar said the school is one of three Model Inclusive Schools (MIS), whose niche area is prevocational programmes. The other two Model Inclusive Schools are Sultan Sharif Ali Secondary School and Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien (SOAS) College. Menglait Secondary School currently houses 542 students from Year Seven to Year 11. They have 87 teachers. Twelve teachers are tasked with teaching the 32 special needs students in the school. The school also has four relief teachers provided by the Special Education Unit, Ministry of Education, said Siti Marienah. She also raised the need for more special needs teachers and specialists to enable the students to get the most out of their schooling experience. “I hope that there will be more teachers who want to help and teach special needs students because these students need one on one attention,” she said. Menglait Secondary School is also one of the top 10 schools in terms of O-Level results. “As one of the Model Inclusive Schools, we want to be an example to others, to be one of the best Model Inclusive Schools in Brunei, while maintaining (and improving on) the top 10 ranking in academic performance for our O-Level examination,” she said. The monarch then made a stop at Mabohai Primary School. Mabohai Primary School has 248 pupils studying in pre-school to Year Six and 31 teachers. The school also runs religious classes in the afternoon. Headmistress of Mabohai Primary School Salinawati Md Zainal said that she was very grateful that His Majesty took the time to visit the school as it was one of the few opportunities that her students and colleagues have to meet and interact with the monarch in person. Salinawati said that the monarch’s visit helped boost the morale of the students and the staff of the school and motivated them to improve their quality of education. “We were very happy, especially the students. They could not believe that the Sultan came to their school,” said Salinawati. “It shows that (His Majesty) is interested in the education of his people,” she added. His Majesty then proceeded to International School Brunei’s (ISB) new campus at Kg Sungai Hanching. The school offers kindergarten, early learning, primary and secondary school education. At the school, His Majesty proceeded to tour the classrooms of his children, His Royal Highness PrinceAbdul Wakeel and Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah. He also toured the design & technology, film and arts classes. ISB Executive Principal Dr Steven P Geraghty said the new campus, which opened its doors to students last August, is now complete. The $30 million campus began construction in 2014. “We have grown from 930 students three and a half years ago. Now our student roll is 1,265 but we still have about 140 places left. I think people appreciate the new campus and the facilities it has to offer,” he said. As part of the new campus, the school is also building a boarding house for its students. With the new boarding facility (for 180 students), the school is hoping to bring in international students. “It is already a third full. We already have 60 students from our boarding facility. Another 100 places will be available at the end of February,” he said.
